Welcome boss lady! My name is Reagan Chatman and I am the creator of C Suite Styling. I launched C Suite Styling in May 2019 and have been going strong ever since. When I launched my services I originally focused solely on advancing black women into positions of power. I've learned a lot along the way and have now extended my reach to all women of color. There's a concrete ceiling being formed in corporate America against us and we all have to do our part in dismantling it.
A little about my personal background. I am originally from the DMV (Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia) and moved to Philadelphia not too long after I graduated from Penn State.
I received a degree in Marketing and a double minor in Women/Gender Studies and Civic/Community Engagement. My love for fashion was always abundant but I didn't see it as a lucrative business. So when I graduated I had no idea how I was going to integrate all my interests and found myself lost in corporate America.
The idea of starting C Suite Styling came when I was at my lowest. I had just walked out of the mortgage industry with no plan and no back up job. For 3 months I got by on assistance from my spouse, family, and the local blood bank for giving plasma. The saying "When you've hit rock bottom, the only way is up" is true in my case. I decided I never wanted to be in that position again and entrepreneurship was my ticket out.
C Suite Styling became my escape plan and a way to incorporate all my interests. Now I am the mother of a beautiful baby boy and an old sassy cat. My life's story is still developing and my services are dedicated to women who feel the same.
